Join a dynamic custom job shop as a Welder and Fabricator, where you will play a vital role in supporting the growth of the company. You will be responsible for handling your own materials, interpreting blueprints and welding symbols, and performing flux-core welding on mild steel to complete various projects. During downtime, you may assist with moving materials, painting, fabrication, and other tasks as needed.Responsibilities
Grab and prepare own materials for welding tasks.
Read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols.
Perform flux-core welding on mild steel.
Contribute to various projects within the company.
Assist with moving materials, painting, and fabrication during downtime.Essential Skills
Proficiency in MIG welding and FCAW welding.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Experience in fabrication and flux-core welding.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in a custom job shop or similar environment is a plus.

The work environment is a shop setting that focuses on structural steel projects. You will work the first shift from 6:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Thursday, with occasional work on Fridays.Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Knapp, WI.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00/hr.
