ERP Logistics Specialist

Responsibilities: Including but not limited to the following:

• Manage all inbound and outbound logistics operations through the company’s ERP system, ensuring accurate inventory transactions, timely shipment processing, and full compliance with OEM delivery requirements (ASN, labeling, routing guide).

• Oversee daily material flow for metal-stamping and assembly production lines by maintaining precise ERP inventory levels, monitoring consumption, and preventing shortages that could disrupt JIT production schedules.

• Review and process customer EDI forecasts, releases, and shipping schedules; adjust internal production and logistics plans in coordination with Production, Purchasing, and Planning teams.

• Lead inventory control activities, including cycle counts, variance analysis, reconciliation, and root-cause investigations, to sustain high inventory accuracy across stamping, WIP, and finished-goods warehouses.

• Coordinate packaging specifications, loading patterns, and shipment documentation (BOL, packing list, ASN) in compliance with customer and Tier-1/Tier-2 requirements for automotive body and structural components.

• Track and manage 3PL and carrier performance, monitor pick-up/delivery status, and resolve logistics delays to ensure on-time delivery performance (OTD/OTIF) for domestic OEM customers.

• Analyze ERP logistics KPIs—inventory accuracy, material handling efficiency, shipping performance, and logistics cost drivers—and implement continuous-improvement initiatives to streamline warehouse and material-handling processes.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with Production, Quality, Engineering, and Tool & Die departments to support new model launches, engineering changes, and material flow optimization within Car Tech’s stamping and assembly operations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Information Systems / MIS, Data Analytics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field, and at least 6 months of relevant experience in ERP logistics management for automotive parts manufacturing.
