Title: Program Manager

Location: Remote (U.S.) – DC Metro Area Preferred

Reports To: Vice President of Operations

Clearance: Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust

Employment Type: Full-Time, Exempt

Salary Range: $145,000–$155,000 annually

As a Program Manager, you will lead the delivery of secure, reliable, and data-driven IT solutions across multiple federal agencies.

This is a critical management role, managing a portfolio of contracts (up to 50 FTEs), building high-performing teams, ensuring operational excellence, and fostering trusted client relationships. You will also play a key role in driving organic growth and mentoring delivery leaders. This is an ideal opportunity for a mission-driven, hands-on leader with a passion for federal technology programs and a strong business mindset. This is NOT a role that is purely “oversight”, as a fully billable Program Manager you will have delivery responsibilities supporting our programs.

Key Responsibilities:

Program Leadership & Delivery

Provide strategic and operational oversight for multiple cybersecurity and enterprise IT programs.

Ensure delivery excellence across cost, schedule, staffing, and quality.

Stay actively engaged in client delivery as a fully billable program leader.

Customer Engagement & Growth

Build strong, trust-based relationships with federal clients.

Identify, capture and win organic growth opportunities within existing programs.

Partner with the VP of Operations and Growth teams to develop a pipeline of new business within aligned agency portfolios.

Team Development & Support

Mentor project managers, task leads, and technical staff across programs.

Foster a high-performance, collaborative team culture that values accountability and excellence.

Strategy & Proposal Support

Contribute operational expertise to solutioning and proposal development.

Identify, Enable and ensure that delivery team members participate as Technical Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in proposal efforts, ensuring proposals reflect real-world mission expertise.

Bring a delivery-focused perspective to new business pursuits.

Represent the company: Act as a trusted face of CyberData in all internal and external engagements.

Required Qualifications

7–10 years of experience managing federal IT programs (up to 50 FTEs).

Proven success in managing and delivering within Cybersecurity, Enterprise IT, Data Analytics, or DevSecOps engagements.

Demonstrates some technical ability in one or more of CyberData’s core capabilities.

Demonstrated ability to drive both delivery performance and program growth.

Strong track record in managing scope, budgets, personnel, and performance across complex federal contracts.

Excellent communication skills and experience interfacing with senior federal stakeholders.

Experience serving as a billable program leader while managing multiple efforts.

Experience contributing to proposal efforts by engaging and mentoring team members to serve as Technical SMEs.

Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or business-related field.

U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

PMP, CSM, or equivalent certification.

Prior experience working with both small business contractors and large federal integrators.

Familiarity with HHS, Dept. of Commerce, FAA, or DOD mission environments.

Experience on SDVOSB or 8(a) set-aside contracts.

Veteran status strongly preferred.
