Warehouse Associate/Backup Driver Full Time 1st shift

Job Description

Our family owned and operated company operates a wholesale distribution center in the Columbus area. We are hiring an energetic candidate with a positive attitude for full-time a 1st shift warehouse work and back up delivery driver position. A typical work week will be Monday through Friday from 6am to 2pm (5 - 8 hour shifts). On the days that delivery is necessary, hours may vary. This position includes but is not limited to: picking, staging and loading outbound shipments, and unloading, receiving and stocking inbound shipments. Come join our family!

The successful job candidate will:

· Have a positive attitude and strong work ethic

· Have consistent attendance and punctuality, and be detail oriented

· Be able to safely and routinely lift 50 pounds

· Be able to work independently and as a team player

· Be able to maintain positive, professional and constructive communication and interactions with all members of the team

· Be able to speak, read and write in English

· Be able to learn industry specific terminology

· Be able to stand/walk for duration of shift

· Be able to safely and routinely operate pallet jacks and forklifts (training provided)

· Flexibility to work overtime (time + 1/2), as required
