Junior AR/OTC Accountant (Fixed term contract)

About the role:

As an Junior AR/OTC Accountant, you will support the process of revenue recording or revenue accounting in day-to-day activities. You will ensure that incoming payments received daily are allocated to the correct accounts in a timely manner to minimize account discrepancies through research and query resolution. You will also cover activities related to sales reconciliation, preparation and processing of relevant journal entries, issue manual invoices and credit memos and bed debts write-offs.

Your responsibilities:

Preparation of daily sales reconciliation, including follow-up, query resolution and monitoring of any outstanding items

Preparation of monthly reconciliation of sales related balance sheet accounts

Execution of sales related accounting transactions

Preparation of relevant sales related reports

Execution of relevant controls, as required by corporate policies and SOX requirements.

Verification and booking invoices and credit notes issued manually

Follow-up on unidentified incoming payments.

Active participation in sales accounting related projects.

Our requirements:

High education in accounting/finance or/and other related field

1+ years of relevant working experience in accounts receivable functions

Hybrid model (office/home)

Excellent communication skills

High customer service skills - emails and calls handling

Strong analytical, process improvement and conceptual mindset

Experience with SSC or Outsourcing environment is very welcome

MS Office, Oracle (or the other ERP system) knowledge

Experience of Excel to at least intermediate level

Very good command of English

Proven ability to work under pressure
