About the Role
Montecito Bank & Trust is seeking a full-time Branch Manager I to join the team in our Camarillo Branch As a Branch Manager, you will deliver a World Class Experience in all aspects of branch management, sales, new account functions, and security. You will generate, evaluate, and successfully close on a wide range of consumer and business deposit and loan activities. The Branch Manager is a player/coach to the sales team and is required to lead, manage, direct, and motivate branch associates to maintain standards of high performance to goals and profitability. You will be responsible for the overall branch management while partnering with Branch Support for operational soundness. You will be located in Camarillo, CA with a fully on-site work schedule.
What We're Looking For
A college degree preferred, or commensurate banking experience required.
3-5 years of recent banking experience required.
3-5 years of recent sales experience required.
3-5 years of supervisory experience required.
The ability to be registered as a Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) with the National Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLSR), under the Secure and Fair Enforcement for Mortgage Licensing Act (SAFE ACT), and maintain the registration as required. These standards include, among other things, passing a criminal background check and a satisfactory credit report obtained from a consumer reporting agency.
Your Responsibilities
The essential functions of this role include, but are not limited to:
Responsible for deposit growth through household acquisition and new business as well as growing the segment of business lending.
Solicit new business through communication with existing customers and prospects and develop customer relationships to determine and analyze financial needs.
Partner with tan assigned Enterprise Sales Advisor to drive household acquisition, single family residential mortgages, business lending and referrals to Wealth Management.
Oversee cross-selling efforts of the branch staff; facilitates staff referrals of bank and other line of business products and services.
Set appropriate goals for individual associates within the branch based on branch annual goals and develop business plans for the branch.
Responsible for branch adherence to policies and procedures as they apply to sales, service and operations.
Review, audit, modify, and prepare a variety of operational and financial reports and general correspondence within required time limits.
Ability to perform teller functions and general personal banker tasks when necessary.
Other duties as assigned.
