The Role

Reporting to the HR Manager, the Human Resources Officer will play a central role in coordinating and delivering the site’s strategic HR activities. This position is ideal for someone with a solid HR foundation, such as a current HR Coordinator or HR Administrator, who is ready to take the next step in their HR career.

You will gain hands-on experience across leadership development, employee engagement, performance management, onboarding, and training, while ensuring HR processes effectively support business goals and contribute to a positive and compliant working environment.

Your Key Responsibilities

Support the delivery of leadership development, employee engagement, and performance management initiatives.

Coordinate onboarding and training programmes to support employee development.

Maintain accurate employee records and HR systems (OpenHR, Crown).

Prepare HR documentation including contracts, letters, and forms.

Ensure compliance with NI employment legislation and internal policies.

Assist with investigations and disciplinary processes in line with company procedures.

Provide day-to-day guidance to managers on HR policies and best practice.

Liaise with payroll to ensure accurate and timely information.

Update weekly HR metrics and maintain communication boards.

Arrange annual medicals and contribute to wider HR projects across the site.

The Ideal Candidate

Third-level qualification in HR, Business Studies, or a related discipline.

CIPD membership (or working towards) or equivalent HR qualification.

Experience in an HR support role (Coordinator, Administrator, or similar) within a fast-paced environment, with readiness to step up into an HR Officer position.

Strong understanding of NI employment legislation.

Confident using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Excellent communication, organisation, and presentation skills.

High attention to detail, with the ability to manage confidential information professionally.

Self-motivated and eager to develop further within HR.
