Travel Cath Lab Technologist Job Details
Location: Rockingham, VA (22801) – Serving the Harrisonburg and Shenandoah Valley region
Assignment Type: Travel healthcare position
Clinical Setting: Hospital Cath Lab
Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Start Date: December 29, 2025
Work Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts per week (40 hours/week), including on-call STEMI coverage
Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,830–$3,040 per week
Parking: Free parking available in lots A, D, F, and G
Cath Lab Technologist Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist or Radiology Technologist in a hospital setting
RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) certification required
Proven experience scrubbing invasive cardiology procedures, including diagnostic cardiac catheterizations and complex PCI with Impella insertion
Experience with pacemaker implantation and electrophysiology (EP) ablation procedures preferred
Electrophysiology experience (mapping and scrubbing) highly desired; RCES certification preferred
Current Virginia state license (or eligibility to obtain prior to start date)
Flu vaccination required
Two professional references required
Cath Lab Technologist Responsibilities
Assist in a range of invasive cardiology procedures, including diagnostic and interventional cardiac cases
Scrub and circulate during procedures such as PCI, Impella insertions, pacemaker placements, and EP ablations
Provide clinical support for electrophysiology procedures, including mapping and scrubbing
Participate in STEMI on-call rotation as required
Ensure high standards of patient care and safety throughout all clinical procedures
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to achieve optimal patient outcomes
Comply with all hospital protocols, healthcare regulations, and quality standards
