Nurse Supervisor-Acute Care Unit

RN Required

3rd Shift Required (8 or 10 hour shifts available)

Mental Health Services (MHS), is a community based mental and behavioral health agency located in the heart of Springfield. MHS serves the Clark and Madison County area with Outpatient Services, Adolescent & Youth Services, and a 16-bed Acute Care In-Patient Unit, open 24 hours, located inside our Main Building on North Yellow Springs Street.

We are currently looking for a Nursing Supervisor to oversee our adult in-patient unit located in Springfield, OH. This position works 40 hours per week (We are flexible with 8 or 10 hour shifts), assisting the DON with all aspects of care on the unit. You will oversee the MHT's and nurses working on the unit. This is a 3rd shift position, and will also have some on-call/weekend/holiday requirements.

Candidates must have:

OH RN license, active and valid

1 year of behavioral or mental health experience as a nurse

Prior management experience preferred

CPR

NVCI

MHS provides CPR/First Aid and NVCI (CPI Blue) for all new staff, along with on-going education and on-the-job training opportunities.

All MHS candidates are required to have an Ohio BCI check (FBI check required if you have lived in Ohio for less than 5 years, or for working with children), 5-panel drug screen and Residential candidates must a 2 step TB (or proof of prior TB) upon conditional offer of employment.
