Traveling Superintendent

We have experience in placing more than 40 million square feet per year of slabs, tilt-up, and precast. We can safely and effectively achieve deadlines, quality requirements, and budgetary constraints thanks to our proficiency in installing and finishing floors to high tolerances in a variety of weather conditions.

Position Overview

The Traveling Superintendent will oversee construction projects across various locations, ensuring that all operations are executed efficiently, safely, and in accordance with the project schedule and budget. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills to manage on-site teams and subcontractors effectively while maintaining high-quality standards in construction work.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate and supervise all construction activities on-site to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Manage and lead on-site teams, including subcontractors and laborers, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as necessary.

Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, schedules, and change orders, to ensure transparency and accountability.

Liaise with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, and engineers, to communicate project status and resolve any arising issues.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Superintendent in the construction industry, with a strong background in warehouse and concrete projects.

Knowledge of construction methods, techniques, and safety protocols, particularly in tilt wall and ground-up construction.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple teams and projects simultaneously.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.

Willingness to travel regularly to various job sites as required.
