About the Role:

As a Direct Support Professional in our Home Care Services industry, you will play a crucial role in providing support and care to individuals with disabilities. Your major end result will be to ensure that our clients receive the highest quality of care and support, enabling them to live fulfilling lives. You will work closely with our clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans that meet their unique needs. Your work will make a meaningful impact on the lives of those you serve.

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience working with individuals with disabilities or in a healthcare setting.

Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with clients and their families.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certification as a Direct Support Professional or similar credential.

Experience with electronic health records and other healthcare technology.

Bilingual

Experience working with diverse populations.

Responsibilities:

Provide direct care and support to individuals with disabilities, including assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.

Develop and implement care plans in collaboration with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals.

Monitor and document clients' progress and report any changes or concerns daily when work

Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients, adhering to all health and safety regulations.

Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Skills:

As a Direct Support Professional, you will use your strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with clients and their families. Your organizational and time management skills will be essential in developing and implementing care plans and documenting clients' progress. You will also use your compassion and empathy to provide high-quality care and support to individuals with disabilities.
