Placement Officer – B.Tech & MBA Programs

Experience Required: 3–5 years (Mandatory: Experience in Campus Placements/Training & Placement in Educational Institutions)
About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic and industry-connected Placement Officer who can drive campus recruitment for B.Tech and MBA students. The role involves building corporate relations, organizing placement activities, and ensuring strong placement outcomes for students.
The candidate should be capable to manage Min 500 students placement.
Key Responsibilities
1. Placement & Corporate Relations
Build and maintain strong relationships with companies for campus hiring.
Identify new recruiters across sectors like IT, Core Engineering, Consulting, BFSI, FMCG, EdTech, Manufacturing, etc.
Coordinate and schedule campus drives, internships, and final placements.
Meet annual placement targets for B.Tech and MBA programs.
2. Student Preparation & Training
Guide students on career paths, resume building, interview preparation, and soft skills.
Conduct grooming sessions, pre-placement talks, and mock interviews.
Coordinate with external trainers for employability enhancement programs.
3. Placement Operations
Maintain placement data, company interactions, and reports.
Ensure smooth coordination on the day of recruitment drives.
Prepare placement brochures, company pitch decks, and communication material.
Ensure timely communication between recruiters and students.
4. Industry Connect & Events
Organize HR Meets, Corporate Talks, Industry Visits, and Networking Conferences.
Bring industry speakers and experts to engage with students.
Represent the institute at various corporate forums.
Candidate Requirements
Mandatory: Experience in Training & Placement department of an educational institution.
Strong corporate network and ability to bring new companies on board.
Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage large student batches and drive results.
Proactive, target-oriented, and capable of handling end-to-end placement cycles.
Qualification
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Management, HR, Marketing, or related fields.
Candidates from education/placement background will be given preference.
