Round Hill Search is partnering with a leading international law firm to hire a highly skilled Word Processor to join their Document Services team. This role requires deep technical proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite—especially Word, PowerPoint, and Excel—and the ability to deliver polished, accurate work product under tight deadlines.
Litigation experience is not required, but prior experience working in a law firm or legal environment is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities:
Create, format, edit, proofread, convert, and finalize a wide range of legal documents, correspondence, presentations, and reports.
Perform complex document production in Microsoft Word, including TOCs, TOAs, advanced styles, tracked changes, redlines, and document conversions.
Prepare and refine PowerPoint presentations with consistent formatting, layout accuracy, and attention to detail.
Handle Excel spreadsheets, including formulas, charts, tables, and formatting cleanup.
Troubleshoot formatting errors, corrupted documents, and template inconsistencies.
Manage revisions and maintain version control throughout each document’s lifecycle.
Work closely with attorneys and staff, providing exceptional customer service and timely support.
Operate effectively during the 3:30 PM – 11:00 PM shift, supporting urgent and high-priority document needs.
Qualifications:
4+ years of professional Word Processing experience (legal setting preferred).
Expert-level skills in Microsoft Word, including advanced formatting and legal document tools.
Strong proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel (charts, formulas, table formatting, and presentation design).
Ability to work quickly and accurately with a high level of attention to detail.
Strong troubleshooting capability for document and formatting issues.
Excellent communication and client service skills; comfortable supporting attorneys directly.
Must be able to work the required shift and be on-site 3 days per week.
Salary: $85,000 - $95,000, commensurate with your experience and qualifications
