POSITION: Junior Project Manager

DEPARTMENT: Contract Glazing

LOCATION: 3278 West Blvd., Vineland, NJ 08360

FLSA/WORK STATUS: Full-Time; Non-Exempt

SUPERVISOR: Commercial Glazing Manager

FULL-TIME WORK HOURS: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm (1-hour lunch)

BENEFITS PACKAGE: Eligible after 90 days: Health Insurance, Health Advocate EAP, 40 hours vacation, 40 hours sick time, and company-sponsored life insurance. Eligible for 50% company-matched 401(k) after 6 months of employment

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

A Junior Project Manager supports the commercial glazing project management team in coordinating projects from award through completion. Responsibilities include assisting with scheduling, material procurement, submittals, RFIs, customer communication, and field coordination while building foundational knowledge of glazing systems and project workflow.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist senior project managers in coordinating manpower, materials, and equipment.

Support preparation and submission of submittals, RFIs, and project documentation.

Track project progress and communicate updates to internal and external stakeholders.

Help order materials and coordinate delivery schedules.

Provide customer support by responding to inquiries professionally and promptly.

Assist with resolving field issues and escalating challenges as necessary.

Visit jobsites as needed to support project coordination.

Maintain organized project files, schedules, and communication logs.

Promote a positive, team-oriented work environment.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:

Construction background preferred.

Ability to learn how to read architectural and structural plans.

Strong organizational and communication skills.

Proficiency with MS Office and digital tools.

Problem-solving ability and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Professional demeanor and positive attitude with a desire to grow.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Construction office environment with occasional visits to construction sites;

Exposure to noise and machinery sounds;

Clerical office-based environment with warehouse on site;

Fast-paced and dynamic work environment;
