Job Description

Software Developer III – Web/Java – Our client seeks an experienced Software Developer III to join their team.

You will earn a starting salary of $100,000 per year, based on your experience. Plus, enjoy an excellent company benefits package. You will work Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm in a hybrid setting.

Some of your responsibilities as Software Developer III will include:

Assisting in the design and implementation of HIPAA-compliant software solutions

Collaborating with business stakeholders

Providing input during architecture discussions

Applying modern engineering practices to accelerate delivery and improve reliability

Contributing to code reviews

Ensuring application performance

Supporting cloud migration

Providing on-call support

Other duties as assigned

To qualify for this Software Developer III position, you must have:

Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related

5+ years of professional experience in application development

Experience designing and developing applications using modern programming languages such as Java, C# or Python

Knowledge with cloud platforms (for example, AWS, Azure)

Knowledge with common Java based web technologies and frameworks

Experience with modern version control systems (for example, Git)

Advanced proficiency in SQL and relational database design

Knowledge with healthcare or insurance systems
