Requirements

Active, unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (e.g., LPC, LPCC, LCPC, LCPCS, LPCC-S), with accepted titles varying by state.

Master's degree or higher in a counseling-related field.

Valid NPI number.

Professional liability (malpractice) insurance.

Readiness to launch or expand a private practice that accepts insurance.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience operating a private practice or working with insurance-accepting clients.
