QSSHire is partnering with a secure government customer to identify a Full Stack Developer to support end-to-end software delivery in a cloud environment. This opportunity is for a true developer with proven ability to build complete applications across front end, back end, and data layers, while meeting enterprise security and performance expectations.

You’ll join a hands-on technical team building and supporting mission-critical, cloud-based applications and integrations across the software development lifecycle.

In This Role, You’ll:

• Design, develop, and implement full stack software solutions across the data layer, application layer, and user interface.

• Work with the Chief Engineer and Technical Leads to translate requirements into user stories and deliver new functionality for multiple applications.

• Decompose functional requirements into technical specifications, tasks, and sprint deliverables.

• Build and maintain web APIs and services to enable secure integrations between systems and cloud databases.

• Develop front-end user interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks such as React.js, along with HTML and CSS.

• Implement back-end services using application-layer languages and frameworks (e.g., Java, C#, C++, Python).

• Leverage AWS best practices to optimize solutions for cloud deployment using cost-conscious strategies.

• Integrate Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and DevOps tooling to support cloud orchestration and automated deployment.

• Develop and maintain unit test scripts and contribute to automated CI/CD quality gates.

• Collaborate as part of an Agile/Scrum team delivering software iteratively through sprint cycles.

You’ll Succeed Here If You Have:

• 4-7 years of hands-on full stack software development experience.

• Experience delivering the design and development of software applications end-to-end.

• Strong proficiency in application-layer programming languages (e.g., Java, C#, C++ and/or Python).

• Solid database/data-layer experience including SQL, unstructured data solutions, and tools such as MongoDB or Elasticsearch.

• Experience building front-end applications using React.js or similar modern JavaScript frameworks, plus HTML, CSS, Bootstrap.

• Proven ability to develop and consume web APIs and cloud-native services for system and data integration.

• Experience developing, deploying, and maintaining applications on cloud platforms such as AWS and/or Azure.

• Practical experience working within Agile/Scrum delivery environments.

Bonus Points If You Have:

• Experience with cloud DevOps pipelines and Infrastructure-as-Code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK).

• Familiarity with TypeScript and modern front-end build/test tooling.

• Experience with microservices, event-driven design, or distributed cloud architectures.

• Strong testing discipline, including unit, integration, and end-to-end automation.
