Job Requirements

Bilingual Contact Center Specialist - Call Center CSR

Location: Austin, TX (Onsite Only)

Pay Rate: $22/hr. Temp to Hire

Position Overview - The Bilingual Contact Center Specialist (CSR) supports Medicaid providers and clients by handling inbound calls and inquiries regarding eligibility, claims, and program-related issues. This individual will deliver clear, accurate, and courteous assistance in both English and Spanish, ensuring excellent customer service and compliance with productivity standards.

Critical Qualifications

• Recent High-Volume Call Center Experience:

Minimum 6+ months of verifiable, high-volume call center experience within the past year (ideally in your most recent position).

• Bilingual Spanish Proficiency:

You must read, write, and speak English and Spanish fluently.

Must complete an assessment in reading, listening, and speaking Spanish, achieving a score of 80% or higher.

• Local to Austin, TX:

Local candidates only - no relocation or remote work permitted.

Work Environment: 100% Onsite (no hybrid or remote schedule).

Key Responsibilities

Handle a high volume of inbound calls from Medicaid providers and clients, delivering accurate information and exceptional service.

Document call details and resolutions clearly in internal systems.

Escalate complex inquiries appropriately.

Consistently meet established quality, attendance, and productivity metrics.

Support departmental goals and perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Experience

6+ months of recent high-volume call center experience (within last 12 months).

Fluent bilingual proficiency - Spanish/English (80% or above on all skill areas: reading, writing, speaking).

Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Strong multitasking, communication, and organizational skills.

Ability to adhere to strict attendance and performance standards.

Work Schedule

Must be available for any 8-hour shift between 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM (CST).

No schedule changes allowed during the first 90 days.
