Position Summary:
The Sr. Manager, Delivery Assurance is the factory-level execution owner for a defined product line (e.g., Power Skids, SmartRun, UPS, PDU, XDU, Thermal). Their mission: deliver every unit to schedule and quality, while providing transparent visibility back to the Large Program Execution leadership team and Product Manager teams.
The Sr. Manager, Delivery Assurance ensures that the assigned builds are executed on time, to the correct configuration, and ready for customer shipment per the committed schedule. Acting as the on-the-floor link between program planning and manufacturing, this role owns day-to-day delivery performance — coordinating between operations, materials, quality, and test to keep the line running to plan.
Responsibilities:
Maintain and manage the daily build schedule for assigned product lines (Power, UPS, PDU, XDU, Thermal). Track WIP progress against CRDs, highlighting at-risk builds and recovery actions. Coordinate with Production Supervisors to align labor, machine time, and test bay availability.
Drive alignment and action-driven results to ensure ordered items are configurable in ERP on purchase order.
Validate that all components and subassemblies are available before build start. Partner with Materials and Master Data to resolve shortages, alternates, or incorrect attributes. Confirm that BOM revisions used in the factory match current released versions. Coordinate with Engineering for any on-site design clarifications or part substitutions. Manage material staging areas to ensure lean flow to production.
Capture build data for cycle time, material issues, and rework for process improvement. Recommend and implement improvements in flow, sequencing, or standard work. Support new product introductions by validating readiness and feedback to engineering. Participate in cross-site product forums to align factory-level execution practices.
Report daily to factory leadership and BU PM on delivery status, risks, and escalations. Foster close working relationships between operators, planners, and engineers. Maintain clear ownership of all open actions until closure. Serve as the go-to person for visibility on all builds within their product scope.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business, or related field.
6-10 years of experience in demand planning, operations, or supply chain within a manufacturing environment or equivalent proven experience in project management.
