Bridge Designer Project Engineer- Multiple Locations NY

Job Description

Salary: $75,000-$90,000 Per Year

About the Role

This position will work with a professional engineer to design and detail plans on a variety of projects, including State/County highways, bridge rehabilitation/replacement, and culvert projects. There will be opportunities to engage projects at all stages of design and construction including feasibility, design decisions, drainage, permitting, bidding, and construction administration. Qualifications

Minimum five (5) years experience, preferably with EIT, PE is a plus

Strong knowledge and experience in local and state bridge rehabilitation/replacement projects, culvert projects, and NYSDOT Specifications/ details

Microstation experience is a must

Good technical writing and communication skills

Knowledge in plan, specification and estimate preparation
