Description:

We are seeking a talented **Geophysicist** to join our exploration and subsurface team in Algiers. The successful candidate will contribute to seismic data acquisition, interpretation, and analysis to support exploration, development, and production projects.

**Responsibilities:**

+ Interface consistently with customers, providing advice on processing parameters and best practices.

+ Process seismic and geophysical data using appropriate technologies and software tools.

+ Ensure timely delivery of processed data to customers according to project schedules.

+ Define, build, and submit test jobs; interpret results, provide parameter recommendations, and suggest further testing if required.

+ Validate the accuracy and efficiency of all testing and production job sequences.

+ Stay up-to-date with advancements in seismic data processing, communication, and data transfer techniques.

+ Investigate and report problems encountered during seismic data processing.

+ Mentor and guide junior staff to enhance team capabilities.

+ Assist the Project Leader with daily project and personnel management, including velocity picking and quality control; organize and delegate work effectively.

+ Forecast resource requirements, track project status, and report progress.

+ Archive projects and maintain proper documentation for future reference.

**Qualifications:**

+ Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Geophysics, Earth Sciences, or related field.

+ Experience in geophysical data acquisition, processing, and interpretation.

+ Proficiency with geophysical software such as Petrel, Kingdom, or OpendTect.

+ Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

+ Knowledge of reservoir characterization and seismic interpretation is a plus.

+ Willingness to travel to field locations within Algeria as required.
