Our client, a manufacturing industry leader, is seeking a dedicated Set Up Technician to join their team. As a Set Up Technician, you will be part of the production support team, ensuring efficient operation of machinery and maintaining high-quality standards. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, proactive problem-solving skills, and a strong work ethic, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Set Up Technician
Location: Dresser, WI
Shift: 2nd Shift, Monday - Thursday 4:15pm - 2:45am, overtime as needed
What's the Job?
Set up and prepare machines (Punch Press, Turret, Press Brake) for production runs.
Install, adjust, change, and align tooling and equipment to meet specifications.
Review blueprints, work orders, and specifications to determine machine settings and tooling requirements.
Operate machines to bend, form, or punch metal according to specifications.
Conduct quality checks and inspections throughout production to ensure product accuracy and quality.
What's Needed?
Prior experience in machine setup or assembly within a manufacturing environment.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
Proficiency in using measuring tools and computers.
Familiarity with CADKEY (for Press Brake operations) is preferred.
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
