Join our dynamic Litigation team as a Paralegal focused on litigation support! In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for investigating and researching key facts while preparing essential documents that aid in the success of our cases. You will manage cases accurately and communicate effectively with clients and attorneys.

Key Responsibilities:

Collect, review, and organize medical records.

Conduct insurance coverage investigations.

Prepare, calculate, and maintain summaries of damages, including medical expenses, lost wages, and property damage.

Manage daily mail and maintain communication logs.

Prepare and send medical records to insurance carriers.

Draft necessary correspondence for effective case management.

Assist with verifying balances and resolving subrogation liens.

Prepare check requests, maintain accurate check records, and ensure timely mailing of checks.

Support attorneys with settlement documentation and disbursements.

Create disbursement summaries as required.

Maintain consistent communication with clients to update them on case status.

Provide weekly reports and participate in monthly team meetings.

Foster professional interactions with clients and team members.

Support team members in their absence, ensuring ongoing productivity.

Commit to regular, punctual attendance.

Other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

Proficient in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Solid understanding of legal practices and procedures.

Knowledge of standard business practices and office administration procedures.

Excellent command of English grammar, usage, punctuation, and spelling.

Adept in using computers and related software applications.

Familiarity with research procedures and legal documentation preparation.

Education and Experience:

High School Diploma or GED required.

Preferred: Some experience in litigation.

Preferred: Bachelor’s degree and/or paralegal certificate.

No supervisory responsibilities.

This is a full-time position, with standard hours of 40 hours per week from Monday to Friday. Some overtime may be required based on project needs. Occasional travel may be necessary, with prior notice provided.
