Northwest Bank is on the lookout for a visionary and detail-oriented Senior Design Strategist to amplify our brand through impactful visual storytelling. In this critical role, you will strategize and execute high-impact designs across various mediums including digital, print, out-of-home advertising, financial centers, and immersive experiences, ensuring alignment with Northwest's brand identity and voice, For What's Next.

As the Senior Design Strategist within our marketing team, you will be responsible for managing design direction from concept to production, collaborating with internal team members and agency partners throughout the process. Your creative contributions will have a direct influence on customer perception, drive engagement, and align with Northwest's strategic objectives. Ideal candidates will present a strong portfolio showcasing creative assets that demonstrate impactful cross-channel and data-driven designs.

Essential Functions

Act as the primary design lead, creating assets that embody our brand identity and promote engaging experiences and positive business outcomes.

Lead the design development for integrated campaigns across print, digital, email, social media, and out-of-home formats.

Collaborate with key stakeholders to conceptualize and develop creative solutions that enhance brand awareness, product adoption, customer experience, community engagement, significant events, and other aspects that create value for customers and the organization.

Oversee the design execution of high-profile brand assets including annual reports, signage, internal presentations, and community materials.

Create design layouts and templates that empower efficient communication through sales team member networks.

Translate customer insights and performance data into actionable creative strategies.

Stay updated with industry trends to ensure creative strategies align with evolving customer needs and best practices across channels.

Additional Essential Functions

Ensure compliance with Northwest's policies and procedures, as well as Federal and State regulations.

Utilize Microsoft Office Software and relevant department-specific applications to enhance efficiency and performance.

Collaborate effectively as a team member.

Operate on-site equipment as necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS

To thrive in this role, individuals should meet the following requirements:

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Marketing, or a related field.

Work Experience:

6 - 8 years of directly related, progressively responsible work experience.

6 - 8 years of experience developing creative assets using Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, or similar software.

3 - 5 years of expertise in branding, typography, color theory, layout, web design, and accessibility standards.

3 - 5 years of experience in integrating digital and print design strategies.

Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Deep expertise in developing integrated creative strategies across digital, print, and physical channels.

Proficient in utilizing Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, or related platforms to produce innovative creative assets.
