Travel Nurse Job Details

Location: Columbus, OH 43210 – Ohio nursing jobs

Healthcare Setting: Level 1 Trauma Center, 18-bed Operating Room

Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse

Start Date: December 15, 2025

End Date: March 16, 2026

Contract Duration: 13 weeks

Hours per Week: 40

Shift Options: Day 4x10-Hour (06:30 - 17:00), Day 3x12-Hour (11:30 - 23:30), plus 8, 10, and 12-hour shifts available

Call Hours: M-F 21:00-06:30; Saturday/Sunday 12-hour shifts (06:30-19:00 and 19:00-06:30)

Weekend Coverage: 3 weekend shifts per 13 weeks as needed

Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2,280–$2,340

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of Operating Room RN experience

Experience in Level 1 trauma centers and extensive scrub experience

Valid Registered Nurse license (compact or Ohio RN license required at submission)

Graduation from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program

BCLS certification

EPIC charting experience

Ability to float to different hospital units as needed

Two professional references (one from a manager/director or formal leadership, one from a charge RN)

Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)

Operating Room Nurse Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality patient care during surgical procedures, including General, Robotic, Laparoscopic, Trauma, Orthopedic, Neurosurgery, Spinal, Ophthalmology, ENT, Plastics, Burns, Urology, GYN, and Transplant surgeries

Circulate and scrub, with a focus on Orthopedic, Neurosurgery, Spine, and General Surgery cases

Collaborate with the surgical healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Maintain accurate patient records using EPIC electronic health record system

Participate in call coverage and float to other hospital units as required
