LHH is seeking an experienced Accountant for a permanent job opening for a client of ours in the engineering sector. This direct hire opportunity offers the chance to contribute to a dynamic accounting team within a well-established and highly respected organization in the Columbus, OH area.
Role Overview
The Accountant will play a key role in managing the full cycle of fixed assets and accounting, supporting month-end close activities, and ensuring the accuracy of financial records. This position is ideal for candidates with a couple years of accounting experience who are looking to continue to build additional accounting and finance skills.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee all aspects of fixed asset accounting
Prepare financial documents, maintaining accurate records and in line with GAAP standards
Responsible for month-end schedules and journal entries
Manage capital expenditures and provide internal & external audit support
Provide timely reporting to management
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
Minimum of 2 years' Accounting experience
Experience reconciling accounts, completing journal entries and assisting with month end close preferred
Fuxed Assets experience preferred but not required
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Pay Details: $72,000.00 to $80,000.00 per year
