Visual Communications Specialist (Hybrid, Reynoldsburg, OH)

The Visual Communications Specialist is an individual contributor responsible for developing brand guides and communication tools that support the field organization. This position plays a key role in translating brand direction into clear, actionable materials for stores, ensuring operational consistency and visual execution across the fleet. The role requires strong creative judgment, operational awareness, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

This position collaborates closely with Visual Managers, Market and Store Operations teams, and partners cross-functionally to support floorset planning and the execution of in-store visual strategies. The specialist reports to the Manager of Visual Communications and typically has no direct reports.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and produce brand guides, communication tools, and field-facing documents that support visual and operational execution across stores.

Partner with Visual Managers, Market teams, and Store Operations to align on floorset planning, timelines, and deliverables.

Utilize InDesign and internal visual merchandising software to create accurate, visually clear communication materials.

Ensure consistency and brand integrity across all visual communication assets.

Manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and multiple concurrent projects.

Support both creative and operational functions necessary for effective field communication.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or 1–2 years of experience in Business Communications, Visual Presentation, Marketing, or a related field.

Retail experience strongly preferred.

Experience in visual communication for another retailer and familiarity with IWD are highly advantageous.

Adobe InDesign proficiency – required; must be able to independently build templates, layouts, and complex documents.

Visual merchandising software experience (IWD strongly preferred).
