Junior QA Automation Engineer

* Selecting or Identifying Areas/Test cases for Automation.

* Proficiency with Tricentis Tosca, including experience with modules, test cases, and test design.

* Experience with model-based testing concepts.

* Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and the software development lifecycle (SDLC). * Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Tricentis Tosca.

* Create test case templates, modules, and libraries within the Tosca framework.

* Identify, document, and track defects, working with developers to resolve them.

* Collaborate with developers, product owners, and business analysts to understand requirements and improve software quality.

* Integrate Tosca with CI/CD pipelines and other development tools like Jenkins.

* Understand the fundamentals of Kubernetes and how to test applications deployed on AWS's managed Kubernetes service.

* Monitor test execution and report on test results.

* Participate in test planning and strategy sessions.

* Continuously improve automation frameworks and processes.

* Knowledge of DevOps practices.

* Experience with API testing and SQL is often required.

* Experience with Agile and BDD (Behavior-Driven Development) is beneficial.

* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

* Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

* Interacting with client to solve issues and update status.
