Senior Backend Engineer (Python, PySpark) HYBRID 3 days onsite

We’re looking for a Senior Backend/Data Platform Engineer with extensive handson experience in Python, PySpark, and Databricks. You will be part of a talented team that builds next generation of high- performance data systems.

What You’ll Do:

Engineer, optimize, and maintain backend services and data platform using Python, PySpark, and Databricks.

Build scalable APIs and microservices that power mission-critical applications across the enterprise.

Work on PostgreSQL data models to ensure rock-solid reliability and performance.

Work closely with cross-functional teams in delivering resilient, scalable platforms.

Dive into performance tuning, debugging, and production troubleshooting when systems need your expertise.

Integrate with external systems like OpenText (a plus).

What You Bring

8+ years of professional software engineering experience focused on backend systems.

Proven development skills in Python, PySpark, and Databricks especially for heavy data processing and platform work.

A deep understanding of backend architecture, distributed systems, and modern API design.

Handson experience with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases.

Experience working with cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP) and CI/CD tooling.

An independent, analytical mindset with a passion for tackling complex engineering challenges.
