Warehouse Trainer - Equipment experience required Hourly Pay: $19.50 - $20.50

Hours:

3rd Shift: Sunday Night - Thursday Night, 10:45pm - 6:45am

Primary Duties:

Responsibilities include training all equipment and non-equipment, new associates on the processes - utilizing High Reach Truck, Sit Down, and Cherry Picker Forklifts. Candidate should be a leader and a great motivator. Able create reports, backup personnel, quality checks, make packaging adjustments as needed, audit packaging on outbound shipments, and provide feedback as needed, audit Inbound product and other duties as assigned.

Training in the areas of cross-functional, equipment, safety, SAP program, product, re-work avoidance (INS< DIS, PPM, ROCA), cycle counting - inventory accuracy

New hire training, including temporary employees

Identification and training on Job Function Critical Elements, SOP's, process maps, reference sheets, definitions

Assist with creation of visual work instructions

Aid in project team and process design changes training

Maintenance of training schedules and plans

Best practices and area expert identification

Participate in the training of project teams or process design changes (example: flow replenishment system)

Work in production as assigned by the Shift Supervisor or Lead Operator

Other duties, as assigned Qualifications Required:

2-3 years as trainer- training of work processes utilizing the sit-down forklift, cherry picker, and reach truck

Working knowledge of SAP, flow process and safety policies/procedures at the CDC

Basic computer skills including e-mail and Internet

Excellent work record at the CDC including attendance and performance

Be available for off shift training and meetings

Must be able to effectively perform all jobs currently trained on within the CDC workflow

Excellent driving record and valid driver's license in accordance with Pilkington-AGR's Motor Vehicle Safety Policy.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills at all levels of the CDC

Able to work both independently and in a team environment Qualifications Desired:

Advanced SAP skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office products including Excel and Word

Previous on-the-job or classroom training experience

Demonstrated coaching/mentoring skills including excellent interpersonal skills

Presentation skills needed to effectively transfer knowledge to adult learners
