Our Client, a Real Estate and Financial Services company, is looking for a Developer-Java/J2EE Professional for their McLean, VA location.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for interfacing and influencing with the business lines as well as others across IT and will utilize your strong communications skills to do this successfully.
Collaborate with our support teams and determine and provide inputs for effort estimation.
Mentor to the team, driving full (and accurate) adoption of modern software engineering and delivery practices (Real Agile, Stateless Design, Microservices, Containerization, etc.)
Requirements:
5+ years of relevant experience.
Must have strong experience with Java, SQL, Unix shell scripting, Angular and Python.
Able to work independently and communicate effectively with teams.
This role requires someone who can take initiative, mentor others, and deliver high quality solutions.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent experience; advanced studies/degree preferred.
5+ years of experience in delivering solutions using SDLC and 2-3 years of experience working in modernized development teams.
2+ years' experience working with complex SQL queries and Unix environment Keys to Success in this Role:
