Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) – Circulating Nurse

Location: Chardon, Ohio (Zip: 44024)

Assignment Type: Travel Nursing, On-Site

Start Date: November 24, 2025

End Date: February 22, 2026

Contract Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: 10-hour days, Monday–Friday (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM)

Hours per Week: 40

On-Call: 1 overnight call shift per week; 1 weekend 24-hour call shift every 6 weeks; occasional late shifts

Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,620 - $1,660

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio

Minimum 1 year of recent operating room circulating nurse experience

BLS certification (American Heart Association) required

Completion of onboarding health and competency requirements (MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B, Tdap, Influenza, TB/PPD, Fit Test, Physical/Health Statement)

Successful completion of skills checklist and competency exams

Ability to participate in on-call rotation and work occasional late shifts

Driver's License/State ID required for submission

Operating Room Nurse Responsibilities

Serve as a circulating nurse in the main operating room, ensuring patient safety and supporting the surgical team

Prepare operating rooms for surgical procedures and maintain sterile environments

Monitor patients before, during, and after surgery

Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists to deliver high-quality patient care

Accurately document all aspects of patient care in a timely manner

Respond to emergencies and participate in scheduled on-call coverage

Promote a positive team environment and contribute to efficient OR operations
