Travel Nursing Job Details

Location: Corpus Christi, TX 78412 (Texas Gulf Coast)

Healthcare Setting: Telemetry/Med Surg ED Holds – Gulf Coast Division

Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse – Emergency Room (ER RN)

Start Date: December 22, 2025

End Date: March 23, 2026

Contract Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (12-hour day shifts)

Hours per Week: 36

Estimated Weekly Pay: $1360 - $1460

Weekend Rotation: Required

Dress Code: Royal Blue Scrubs

Unit Size: 18-40 beds

Patient Ratio: 6:1

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license required

Current ACLS and BLS certifications (American Heart Association preferred)

Minimum 1 year of recent experience as an Emergency Room RN or acute care RN

Proficiency with Baxter IV pumps and GE telemetry equipment

Experience with Meditech 5.6 EMR preferred

Ability to float to Med Surg and Telemetry units as needed for clinical support

Strong communication, adaptability, and teamwork skills

Friendly, flexible, and easy-going personality

ER RN Responsibilities

Provide high-quality, compassionate patient care in the Emergency Department and ED holds

Monitor and manage patients on non-titrating cardiac drips

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team, including charge nurses, bedside nurses, patient care technicians (PCTs), and unit coordinators

Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Meditech EMR

Adhere to unit guidelines, hospital policies, and infection control protocols

Float to Med Surg and Telemetry units to deliver clinical support as required

Demonstrate flexibility, a positive attitude, and commitment to patient-centered care
