Travel RN Job Details

Location: Hyannis, Massachusetts (Zip: 02601) – Cape Cod healthcare jobs

Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: January 5, 2026 – End: April 4, 2026)

Setting: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU)

Hours: 36 hours per week

Shift: 12-hour rotating night shifts (7:00pm – 7:30am), every other weekend, rotating holidays

Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week

Estimated Weekly Pay: $2100 - $2250

Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN)

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts

Minimum 1 year of recent ICU or critical care nursing experience

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification

Successful completion of CCHC Pharmacology and Basic Arrhythmia exams

Strong communication skills in English

Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), CCRN, TCAR, De-escalation Certification, and experience with hemodynamic monitoring, ventilator care, and intracranial pressure monitoring

ICU Nurse Responsibilities

Provide patient care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation

Administer medications and monitor patient responses in a critical care environment

Guide patient care, education, and activities of ancillary healthcare staff

Maintain accurate patient records and documentation

Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop discharge plans

Collaborate with allied healthcare professionals and communicate care plans

Float between ICU and CVICU units as needed

Utilize computerized nursing informatics systems

Serve as a resource for patient care, staff orientation, and nursing education

Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient care evaluations

Follow hospital safety and infection control policies

Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold professional standards

Engage in ongoing professional development and maintain required nursing certifications

Perform additional duties as assigned by nursing supervisor
