About the Internship
Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) is a program of projects and initiatives that utilize world class principles and best practices to assess, maintain, and manage the Agency's physical assets throughout their lifecycle while providing visibility into their health. Through workforce empowerment and continuous improvement in processes, technology, work methods, and tools, the EAM Program optimizes asset risk, performance, and cost.
Responsibilities
Asset Management Standards Development & Requirements Gathering
Assist the Governance Team in developing standards and procedures for Asset Management focus areas (e.g., operations & maintenance improvements and asset performance).
Assist in requirements gathering for technology solutions (e.g., materials and contract management, mobile maintenance solution, etc.).
Data Analysis & Transformation
Analyze asset and maintenance data to inform asset life cycle planning efforts
Analyze EAM system data to inform data quality and system integrity efforts
Transform and prepare asset and maintenance data for load to enterprise environments like IBM Maximo and ArcGIS
Continuous Improvement Projects
Lead continuous improvement project(s) to improve the overall daily operations of the Enterprise Asset Management Division and/or its partner departments and facilities.
Minimum Qualifications
Enrollment at a college or university at the time of the internship
Major in Engineering, Asset Management, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or Public Administration or related discipline
Desired Qualifications
Ability to thrive in a dynamic, teams-based environment.
Microsoft Excel
Data analytics experience
Internship Details
The start date will be Thursday, May 28, 2026
The internship will last approximately 12 weeks, ending on Friday, August 21, 2026
This is a full-time internship (5 days per week at 7.25 hours per day)
In accordance with Port Authority policy, this position permits interns to work remotely a maximum of one day per week. In person collaboration is essential to how the Port Authority conducts business and regular in-office days or team collaboration days may be required depending on business needs. Some internships may require interns to be fully in-person.

Compensation & Benefits
The hourly rate range is $18.07 to $30.31 (the exact rate will be determined by internship type and rising school year)
