General Summary
The Front of House (FOH) Supervisor is responsible for supervising the FOH team, and ensuring high-quality service is provided to Artis-Naples patrons during events. This role requires flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays depending on event schedules. The Front of House Supervisor collaborates effectively with all Artis-Naples team members and oversees a variety of events and performances across the cultural campus.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned)
• Assist with coordinating and providing training of usher team members to ensure compliance with Artis-Naples policies and procedures.
• Supervise usher team members assigned to all events both on and off campus.
• Supervise volunteers assigned during shift hours and assist with managing to the Volunteer portal (Volgistics) as needed.
• Prepare and distribute all necessary reports in a timely manner.
• Ensure prompt curtain calls and enforce late-seating policy in coordination with the production team.
• Provide usher team members with relevant information regarding their assignment; conduct pre-show briefings including show timings & late seating.
• Collaborate with Collier County Sheriff's Office and Florida Highway Patrol when present on campus.
• Monitor and respond to patrons requiring medical attention and assist with crowd control in the event of an emergency evacuation.
• Assist patron services in resolving seating issues during performances.
• Organize program distribution, including but not limited to the placement of program inserts.
• Ensure usher team members are in proper uniform according to policy.
• Serve as an usher during vents when needed.
• Coordinate merchandise and souvenir sales and prepare accurate and timely reports for House Manager approval.
• Report facility and operational problems and work collaboratively with all Artis-Naples team members to address concerns requiring departmental attention.
• Assist with reviewing departmental documents, memos & training guides as needed.
• Maintain certification and/or training in CPR/AED, First Aid, Evacutrac Emergency Chair, Active Shooter, and Fire Extinguisher.
• Attend meetings as required or directed.
• Observe and report on safety requirements submitting work orders to the Manager or Security as necessary.
• Collaborate effectively and professionally with all Artis-Naples team members.
• Enforce adherence to Artis-Naples policies and procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education, Experience, Competencies and Core Values
Education/Experience
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of one (1) year experience in theater management or customer service.
• Working knowledge of computers and related programs required in the performance of related duties and responsibilities.
• Ability to interact effectively with patrons, staff, volunteers, and visiting production personnel.
• Ability to evaluate situations and take appropriate actions to intervene and resolve the situation.
