PLC Programmer

Job Description

We are currently seeking a PLC programmer. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in fabrication and technical problem-solving, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment safely and quickly.

Responsibilities & Requirements:

Proven experience in fabrication and/or welding

Ability to read and interpret schematics

Ability to read and interpret blueprints

Experience with PLC systems and/or CNC machinery

Solid electrical knowledge, including understanding of voltage

Practical experience with hand tools and control panels

Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills

Ensure compliance with safety standards during all maintenance activities

Experience with inspecting, performing preventative maintenance and repairing conveyor belts in a manufacturing setting.

Perform routine and emergency maintenance on motors, gearboxes, and other mechanical systems

Previous experience with lockout/tagout procedures to ensure safe maintenance practices

Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, and parts usage

Collaborate with operations and safety teams to identify and resolve equipment issues

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift 80 pounds periodically throughout the day

Ability to work 12 hour shifts

Ability to work in both indoor & outdoor environments

Pay rate:

$24.00 - $30.00 + (DOE)

Hours:

Monday- Friday

Night Shifts - 6:00pm - 6:00am

12 Hour Shifts
