Project Manager - Government Construction

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee large scale Government & Federal construction projects around the Bethesda, MD area at the NIH. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in managing projects valued at $50 million or more and will have extensive knowledge of government construction regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee all phases of construction projects, from pre-construction planning to project closeout

Ensure that all work is completed safely, on time, and within budget

Manage subcontractors and vendor relationships

Maintain accurate project documentation and provide regular progress updates to project stakeholders

Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure project success

Ensure compliance with all government regulations and requirements

Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry

Proven experience managing projects valued at 50 million dollars or more

Experience working on government construction projects

Extensive knowledge of government construction regulations, including SCIF and Federal Projects

Strong leadership and communication skills

OSHA 30 Hour certification

Nice to have: experience with Bluebeam and Procore software, QA/QC experience, Estimating experience
