Solidworks/CAD Designer

A Columbus-based manufacturing company is seeking a Mechanical Drafter / SolidWorks Technician to support its Engineering, Estimating, and Drawings team. Producing, modifying, and duplicating drawings using SolidWorks (2D and 3D)

Reviewing samples, blueprints, and documentation to determine materials, labor, and processes for RFQs

Partnering with internal teams to clarify project requirements and develop accurate estimates

Explaining drawing details to shop personnel or other team members

Applying mathematical concepts including plane and solid geometry, fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions

Managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and qualityRequirements:

Minimum 2 years of SolidWorks CAD experience

Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel

Associate’s degree or equivalent experience

Must be able to pass a drug test and background check
