Radiology Technologist Job Details Job Title: Radiology Technologist – Electrophysiology (EP) Lab Location: Athens, Georgia (30606) Healthcare Setting: Electrophysiology (EP) Lab – strictly EP cases Contract Type: Travel healthcare contract Start Date: January 5, 2026 End Date: March 30, 2026 Duration: 12 weeks Shift: Day shift, 4x10-hour days (07:00 - 17:00) Hours per Week: 40 Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,320 - $2,380 Late Shift Coverage: Minimum 2 late shifts per week (typically no later than 6:30 PM) Weekends: No weekends required Patient Population: Adults to Geriatrics Unit Systems: Epic Cupid (required), Pyxis, Abbott Claris EP, GE Mac Lab Scrub Color: Provided by facility Radiology Technologist Qualifications Minimum 2 years of experience in an EP Lab or cardiac healthcare setting Prior travel healthcare experience required Certifications: BLS, ACLS (American Heart Association preferred) Acceptable backgrounds: Registered Nurse (RN), Radiologic Technologist RT(R), Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT) with RCIS or RCES Georgia State License (required for RN applicants) Proficiency with Epic charting system Ability to scrub and/or circulate efficiently in EP procedures Full compliance with onboarding requirements prior to start Two supervisory references highly preferred Radiology Technologist Responsibilities Assist in advanced electrophysiology procedures: Pacemaker Implants (leadless single and dual), ICD implants, Bi-ventricular implants, EP studies, RF, Cryo and Pulse Field Ablations (PVI, VT, SVT), and LAAO procedures Set up and operate specialized cardiac equipment including Abbott Claris EP and GE Mac Lab Monitor and record baseline measurements, arrhythmia induction, and hemodynamic data Perform EKG lead placement and fluoroscopy Maintain sterile technique and manage supply inventory Recognize and respond to life-threatening arrhythmias Float to other healthcare units as needed Provide late day coverage until all EP cases are complete Join our innovative EP Lab team in Athens, Georgia, and make a significant impact on cardiac patient care.
