Oct 17, 2025: 7a 7p (Weekday Hourly)

Additional ongoing coverage dates to be scheduled as needed

Patient Demographics: Adults and Pediatrics

Patient Volume/Census: 19,000 annual ED visits (~52 patients/day)

Case Mix: General Emergency Medicine

FACILITY INFORMATION

EMR System: Epic

Support Staff Available: 10-hour NP/PA coverage daily

Reason for Coverage: Locum physician coverage need

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Licenses: Active Mississippi medical license required

Certifications: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine or FM/IM with ED experience

Experience: Emergency Medicine experience preferred

Other Qualifications: Must be comfortable working in a community ED with NP/PA team

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide emergency medical care during 12-hour physician shifts (24-hour total daily coverage)

Collaborate with 10-hour NP/PA support staff for daily ED operations

Document all care using Epic EMR

Deliver care in a flexible schedule model with rotating coverage as needed
