Join our healthcare team and enjoy Albuquerque’s vibrant culture, scenic mountain views, and thriving healthcare community.\n\n\nTravel Nursing Job Details – Albuquerque, NM\n\n Location: Albuquerque, NM 87102 (New Mexico nursing jobs)\n Facility: Heart Hospital CVOR (On-Site)\n Position Type: CVOR Registered Nurse – Travel Contract\n Start Date: January 5, 2026\n End Date: April 6, 2026\n Contract Length: 13 weeks\n Shift: Day shift, 5x8-hour (06:30 – 15:00)\n Hours per Week: 40\n Estimated Weekly Pay: $2000 - $2050\n Patient Population: Adults & Geriatrics\n Daily Census: 1-6 CVOR cases/day (Hearts and Vascular)\n Call Requirement: Yes\n Float Requirement: Downtown OR only\n Orientation: 32 hours onsite\n\n\nCVOR RN Qualifications\n\n Minimum 3 years of recent CVOR Registered Nurse experience in a hospital setting\n Previous travel nursing experience required\n Active New Mexico or Compact RN license (required at time of submission)\n Certifications: BLS, ACLS (required); CNOR preferred\n Experience with Epic charting system required\n Ability to circulate and scrub in CVOR procedures\n Charge nurse experience preferred\n Must be able to float to Downtown OR as needed\n Locals within 50 miles not accepted\n\n\nKey Responsibilities – CVOR Registered Nurse\n\n Deliver expert perioperative nursing care for cardiac and vascular surgeries (CABG, mitral valve replacement, AAA repair, carotid endarterectomy)\n Circulate and scrub in CVOR cases\n Participate in on-call rotation as required\n Float to Downtown OR within scope as needed\n Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams (Physical Therapy, Respiratory, Pharmacy, Radiology, Social Services, Rapid Response)\n Document patient care using Epic charting system\n Support adult and geriatric patient populations\n Complete onsite orientation and required modules\n\n Ready to advance your nursing career in Albuquerque, New Mexico?
