Position Overview:

As a Water Mitigation Technician Trainee, you will assist with the setup, operation, and maintenance of equipment used in water damage restoration projects. You will work closely with experienced technicians, learning the trade from the ground up while contributing to a clean, safe, and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with water extraction, drying, and cleanup processes under supervision.

Operate and maintain mitigation equipment safely and effectively (training provided).

Perform physical labor, including lifting and moving heavy equipment.

Keep work areas organized, clean, and compliant with safety standards.

Accurately document work performed and report any issues to supervisors.

Maintain inventory of tools, materials, and supplies.

Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and standard operating protocols.

Work flexible hours, including participation in on-call rotations, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Qualifications:

Strong work ethic with a positive, “can-do” attitude.

Willingness to learn and grow within the company.

Reliable, punctual, and safety conscious.

Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and materials.

Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.

Must pass background check and drug screenings (initial and random), including urine and hair testing.

Must have a working cell phone.

Authorized to work in the U.S.
