Senior Research and Development Chemist

Sr R&D Lubricant Chemist / F1019B – Northeastern NJ

Multi-national manufacturer of outstanding lubricants is seeking a highly accomplished, extremely motivated Senior Research and Development Chemist. Northeastern, NJ stable, successful, company. The ideal candidate is an experienced self-starter who enjoys working in a collaborative team environment with a proven track record for success. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Heavy research and development of new products.

Performing studies of competitor lines of industrial products and gap analysis of current product line to ensure that the line is kept current and complete.

Performing studies in order to achieve the development or reformulations of lubricant products.

Acting as team leader for Research and Development projects.

Working directly with manufacturing personnel to schedule and participate in pilot manufacturing studies, pilot batches etc.


Masters or PhD degree preferred.

5+ years experience in developing and reformulating lubricants.

In-depth knowledge of basic lubrication and lubricant testing, formulations and applications.
