Overview
GDC IT Solutions is currently seeking a Salesforce Architect to work in a hybrid capacity with 2 days on-site per week in Columbus, Ohio. This position requires candidates to be located within commuting distance of Columbus and offers a collaborative environment focused on scalable Salesforce solutions, integrations, and continuous process improvement.
As a Senior Salesforce Developer you will be responsible for architecting, configuring, customizing, and implementing Salesforce solutions and third-party integrations. You will collaborate with business stakeholders, technical teams, and leadership to design scalable solutions on the Salesforce platform that support strategic initiatives, enhance operational efficiency, and drive continuous improvement across the organization.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, document, and deploy high-quality business solutions on the Force.com platform.
Work with leadership and stakeholders to determine Salesforce technologies, tools, and approaches that improve operational efficiency and enhance customer experience.
Handle and implement third-party integrations and troubleshoot issues with partner applications as they arise.
Maintain, enhance, and create workflows, Process Builder flows, Visual Flows, and other Salesforce functionality.
Maintain and provide enhancements to existing Salesforce solutions.
Develop and manage Salesforce Communities.
Work with business teams to understand processes and translate needs into actionable Salesforce requirements.
Participate in all aspects of the project lifecycle including kickoff, requirements, design, implementation, testing, and post-production support.
Proactively identify required system changes and communicate upcoming changes to users.
Develop and create advanced-level customized reports, dashboards, and respond to ad hoc reporting requests.
Design reporting in Salesforce using Conga.
Develop and create customized reports and dashboards.
Create and maintain documentation on processes, policies, configurations, user guides, and functional documentation.
Manage user testing including test plans, test case development, and validation of results against requirements.
Thoroughly unit test development deliverables and participate in user acceptance testing.
Monitor and manage exception logs for backend integrations with Salesforce.
Assist with migration from legacy systems and processes into Salesforce.
Import data using Salesforce tools such as Data Loader.
Log, troubleshoot, and resolve system problems.
Ensure Salesforce reporting best practices are followed to avoid performance impacts as data volumes increase.
Develop complex, macro-driven reports to summarize system information for senior management.
Mentor and train State development resources. Minimum Qualifications
Proven experience with Lightning Aura Components, Apex programming, and Force.com APIs.
Demonstrated experience configuring, customizing, and supporting Salesforce environments.
Experience managing Salesforce release management processes and deploying changes across sandboxes.
Strong understanding of Salesforce reporting, dashboards, workflows, and automation tools.
Experience troubleshooting integrations and resolving technical issues.
Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into Salesforce solutions.
Experience participating in full project lifecycle activities including analysis, design, testing, and deployment.
Experience training users and creating system documentation.
Experience designing reporting using Conga.
Experience developing macro-driven reports for senior management.
Experience managing or developing Salesforce Communities.
Experience migrating legacy systems into Salesforce.
Experience with Data Loader and advanced data management processes.
Experience mentoring or leading junior developers. What We Do:
