Overview
We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Developer with over 12 years of professional experience in CRM solutions, sales analytics, and system integrations. The ideal candidate will have strong technical proficiency in Salesforce platform development and configuration, along with a deep understanding of sales operations, strategic customer targeting, and data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Salesforce Development & Customization:
Design, develop, and deploy custom Salesforce solutions using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components (LWC), and API integrations.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Partner with cross-functional teams across Sales, Marketing, and Analytics to align on strategic objectives for customer targeting, call planning, and segmentation across the APUS product portfolio.
Sales Analytics & Reporting:
Develop and maintain sales performance dashboards and reporting tools within Salesforce and other platforms (MS Excel, Power BI, Access). Provide insights to drive sales strategy and execution.
Data Governance & Integration:
Ensure the accuracy and synchronization of Salesforce data with enterprise systems. Maintain data hygiene and uphold governance standards for new integrations and data migration activities.
Training & Enablement:
Support and deliver the annual sales and retail training plan in partnership with HR and field teams. Benchmark training effectiveness against industry competitors.
Operational & Risk Management:
Support the business line by ensuring proper governance, onboarding of new hires, and proactive operational risk management.
Leadership & Mentoring:
Manage and coach project consultants and junior developers during client and internal project executions, ensuring adherence to quality standards and delivery timelines.
Strategic Program Support:
Collaborate with IC (Incentive Compensation) teams to define, review, and synchronize business rules related to targeting and incentive planning. Required Skills & Experience
12+ years of experience in Salesforce platform development (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud preferred)
Expertise in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning (LWC), SOQL, and REST/SOAP APIs
Strong analytical skills with experience in MS Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Power BI
Proven track record in sales operations analytics, customer segmentation, and CRM optimization
Experience working closely with business stakeholders, translating requirements into scalable Salesforce solutions
Solid understanding of sales enablement, training programs, and data-driven decision frameworks
Strong communication, leadership, and project management skills
Salesforce certifications (Developer / Administrator / Architect) highly desirable Preferred Qualifications
Experience in health systems, pharma, or life sciences domain preferred
Exposure to formulary pull-through programs and strategic sales enablement initiatives
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline
