POSITION SUMMARY

Effectively promote, take and deliver food and beverage orders.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Accurately and quickly take and place all food orders with the kitchen, according to the prescribed procedure. (25%)

Answer all questions about cooking methods, menu items, specials and prices of all items. (5%)

Prepare and deliver beverage and dessert orders. (10%)

Check food to ascertain that appearance, temperature and portions are correct and deliver food orders in a timely fashion. (25%)

Prepare the guest check accurately and present it to the guest before their departure. (20%)

Collect payment from the guest. (10%)

NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Clean, clear and reset dining room tables.

Assist in seating and greeting the guest.

Clean and restock service items. Knowledge and Skills:

Education:Ability to read and write English.

Experience:One year server experience helpful but not required.

Skills and Abilities: Communication and hospitality skills (English required). TIPS trainable. Ability to work micros computer system.

Travel Required: None.

Hours Required: Full time required to work 30 plus hours per week. Part time required to work less than 30 hours per week. Scheduled days and times may vary based on need.

Lifting of food trays up to 40 lbs. Pushing Queen Marys up to 100 lbs.

Continually moving at a fast pace.
