Manufacturing Process Technician - NS

ApTask Global Workforce (AGW) is seeking a Manufacturing Process Technician - NS with a Biotechnology company. This is a 6+ month contract opportunity with our client located in New Albany, OH. This is an onsite position.

Summary:

This is a night shift position (Monday - Thursday, 3:30 PM - 2:00 AM) focused on performing manufacturing processes according to Standard Operating Procedures. The role involves operating high-speed packaging equipment in a regulated environment and may include overtime as needed.

Responsibilities:

Schedule operations

Perform initial review of manufacturing procedures/batch records

Train Manufacturing Operators and Associate Manufacturing on process theory

Draft and revise more complex documents (e.g., MPs, SOPs, technical reports, validation documents, investigation reports)

Audit critical records

Propose corrective action for Quality incidents

Assist and plan improvement implementation related to routine functions

Interact with other departments to implement planned improvements

Identify and propose solutions to complex problems

Perform data analysis (e.g., SPC, CPV) of critical process parameters

Lead capacity for equipment/process operations

Troubleshoot process and assesses process performance through process monitoring

Support new product introduction and product life cycle

Initiate and Implement Level 1 and Level 2 Change Control records

Requirements:

High school/GED and 1 year of work or military experience OR an Associate's degree

1-3 years of experience in manufacturing, preferably in an FDA regulated environment

Mechanical ability/expertise to understand equipment/processes

Basic statistical mathematical skills

Technical writing capability

GMP knowledge with the ability to interpret and apply

Desired skills:

Pharmaceutical industry experience

Pay range: Up to $26.79 per Hour
