What You'll Do as a Document Delivery Technician
• Process time-sensitive, inbound or outbound, essential documents for large mailing operation:
• Operate mail handling equipment daily (i.e., Opex 7.5 Multi-Purpose Extractor, 72 high speed color scanners with drop feeder & extractor, AS7200, FalconRed) to scan documents & miscellaneous mail in order to prepare time sensitive, essential documents (e.g., vehicle registrations, handicap placards, dealer renewals, PISG applications, partial payments on reinstatement fees);
• Presort documents by zip code according to department (s) or U. S. Post Office Box numbers;
• Process mail manually by opening, folding or bursting mail that is too large for mail handling equipment or mail openers;
• Operate computer terminal & various programs (e.g., TMS, Excel, Word) to enter & retrieve data;
