Our client, is seeking an Azure Cloud Engineer for a contract to hire position in Columbus, OH.
As an Azure Cloud & Modern Workplace Engineer, you will play a hands-on role in building, delivering, and optimizing solutions across the Microsoft cloud ecosystem. You'll translate business needs and architectural guidance into scalable, secure, and reliable implementations using Azure services, Power Platform, Power BI, and Office 365. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on execution-automating processes, developing clean logic, and enabling modern workplace capabilities that drive real business impact.

Pay Range: $65/hr on W2
What's the Job?
Design, build, and maintain Azure-based integrations, automations, data pipelines, and cloud infrastructure aligned with established architectural standards.
Develop Power Platform solutions-Power Apps, Power Automate, and AI Builder-to streamline and automate processes across both corporate and restaurant environments.
Create and manage Power BI dashboards, datasets, and reports with strong governance elements such as rowlevel security and deployment pipelines.
Build and maintain data pipelines and transformations that support the Enterprise Data Warehouse using tools such as Azure Data Factory and Fabric.
Support and enhance Office 365 and Modern Workplace capabilities, ensuring configurations in SharePoint, Teams, and other tools align with governance and security requirements. What's Needed?
6+ years of hands-on development experience across Azure, Power Platform, and Power BI, with proven delivery of production-grade solutions.
Strong proficiency in Power Automate and Power Apps, including custom connectors, multi-step workflows, and API-based integrations.
Solid Power BI expertise in data modeling, DAX, report development, and deployment lifecycle management.
Experience developing Azure-based integrations and data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Logic Apps, Functions, or similar services; familiarity with data warehousing concepts preferred.
Ability to work within architectural and governance frameworks while providing thoughtful technical feedback and alternatives.
Experience in franchise or multi-location business environments is a plus.
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience; Microsoft certifications (PL400, DP600, AZ204, etc.) preferred.
